One: Drumeo instruction is aimed at the ambitious person, and that's not me. But it's freeing, too. If I don't want to learn something, I don't have to beat my head against the wall. Learn what you want, let the rest drop.
Two: I'm used to 16 bars and a fill, but listening to Chain Lightning, there's something going on every couple of bars, and I've never read about or heard about that pattern. I've separated the track into stems with Moises and listened to the isolated drums, and I've slowed down a drum cover on YouTube. Neither creating transcription nor tabs are in my skill set, and learning by doing is slow going, even for a 3-minute song.
