"Bass Drum Doubles" don't interest me, but I force myself to do the exercises for a few minutes each. Then to a non-Drumeo video of a Purdie Shuffle, which in the past has been interesting to play along with, but not tonight, and I bailed after five minutes.
You gotta love it with a passion, and I don't. And never have. Curiosity, yes. Mildly intrigued is more like it. Music itself doesn't interest me much nowadays, for that matter.
Even the YouTube demos that used to attract my attention produce only a shrug now. Let's see, I'm paid up through the end of the year, and unless something changes I'll be looking for a different hobby. Maybe something will find me first. I've been watching magic tricks lately, and am satisfied to learn how the trick is done.
